Immersive Aminal, 2023. Temporary installation held in the Linderman Library in Bethlehem, PA, from April 16-23, 2023. The piece was held in the library’s iconic rotunda space, built in 1878. Immersive Aminal became the first student art installation held in the rotunda since its founding. It required a 36×18′ piece of fabric mounted across two stories of the interior space and three 4K projectors to fill the entire screen. A speaker from the third-floor balcony above transmitted a nature soundscape recorded from the forest nearby the library. Though the lights in the rotunda were temporarily turned off, the light emitted from the projection and the calming audio-scape maintained a functional reading and studying environment for students.
